Quick TakeZonka Feedback vs Alternatives
Zonka quotes rather than publishes. Three of the four alternatives here print their prices, and each meters on a different unit, so a like-for-like comparison has to start with your own volumes.

Quick Verdict

Zonka Feedback does not publish a price. Neither does Qualtrics. SurveySparrow, Survicate and Refiner all do, and their published numbers are not comparable to each other because each one charges for a different thing. SurveySparrow sells survey responses. Survicate sells responses plus data points. Refiner sells monthly active users and throws in unlimited responses.

Work out which unit matches your programme before you compare any numbers. A product team surveying inside an app with 4,000 monthly users pays a predictable Refiner bill and an unpredictable SurveySparrow one. A support team sending 300 post-ticket surveys a month gets the opposite result.

Zonka Feedback vs Alternatives 2026

How These Tools Meter

Five platforms, four billing units. Setting them side by side explains why sticker prices in this category mislead so reliably.

  • Response volume: SurveySparrow charges by responses per quarter or per year. Zonka uses response volume too, but as an input to a quote rather than a list price.
  • Responses plus data points: Survicate meters both, with a slider that moves the price as you raise either.
  • Monthly active users: Refiner counts the people your product touches, not the surveys they answer, and leaves responses uncapped.
  • Quote only: Zonka and Qualtrics publish no figure at all.

Two consequences follow. A high-traffic product with a low response rate is punished by MAU pricing and rewarded by response pricing. A low-traffic product running frequent surveys gets the reverse. Nobody can tell you which applies without your numbers.

Zonka Feedback As The Baseline

Zonka splits into two products. The Customer Feedback Platform covers survey software, digital feedback and online reputation management. AI Feedback Intelligence adds thematic analysis, entity and aspect tracking, sentiment analysis, impact analysis, an Ask AI interface, role-based dashboards and an MCP server.

Channel coverage is the strongest argument for it. Offline kiosks, email, SMS, WhatsApp, website, in-product and an in-app SDK all feed the same programme, and NPS, CSAT and CES are measured across them. Few competitors at any price cover offline and WhatsApp alongside the digital channels. The current channel list is on the Zonka Feedback site.

Pricing is where it gets harder to evaluate. Zonka’s own pricing page carries no tier figures, only feature blocks and a demo request. Its FAQ states the model: response volume drives Feedback Management, data credits drive Feedback Intelligence, and the two can be bundled. Any specific dollar amount you see quoted for Zonka elsewhere, including in older versions of this article, should be treated as someone’s negotiated deal rather than a list price.

The integration list is long: Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, HelpScout, Front, Jira, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Sheets, Zapier, Integrately, Make and webhooks. You can see current terms at Zonka Feedback.

What Zonka covers that the published-price tools do not

  • Offline and kiosk capture at a physical location
  • WhatsApp as a survey channel
  • SMS alongside email and web
  • An in-app feedback SDK for mobile products
  • Online reputation management in the same platform
  • NPS, CSAT and CES measured consistently across every one of those channels

Alternative 1: SurveySparrow

SurveySparrow is the closest like-for-like swap and the easiest to budget, because every number is on the page.

PlanPriceWhat you get
FreeFree75 responses per quarter
Basic$19/moBilled yearly. 2,500 responses a year, 1 user, 5+ integrations. $39/mo if billed quarterly, for 600 responses a quarter
Starter$39/moBilled yearly. 15,000 responses a year, 1 user, 10+ integrations. $59/mo billed quarterly for 3,600 a quarter
Business$79/moBilled yearly. 36,000 responses a year, 3 users, custom branding, workflows and webhooks. $149/mo billed quarterly for 9,000 a quarter
EnterpriseCustom3+ users, CSS customisation, 130+ language auto-translation, HIPAA availability, PowerBI and 25+ integrations
SurveySparrow pricing page on the yearly toggle showing Basic, Starter, Business and Enterprise plans
The page opens on Yearly, so the first figures you see are annual equivalents.

Watch the billing toggle. SurveySparrow loads on Yearly and the badge promises up to 40% off, which understates the real gap on two tiers. Basic falls from $39 to $19, a 51% cut. Business falls from $149 to $79, a 47% cut. Starter is the only one that lands near the advertised figure at 34%. Committing annually here is unusually worthwhile.

Converted to cost per response at annual rates: Basic works out at 9.1 cents, Starter at 3.1 cents, Business at 2.6 cents. The jump from Basic to Starter costs $20 a month and multiplies your allowance six times, which makes Basic poor value for anyone running a real programme.

Choose it if: you want a published price, your volume is measured in responses, and three users is enough.

Alternative 2: Survicate

Survicate pricing on monthly billing showing the Starter plan and response volume slider
Survicate prices from a slider, so the figure moves as you raise response volume.

Survicate publishes prices but not a fixed ladder. A slider sets response volume and data points, and the figure moves with it, so any price you quote has to come with the slider position attached.

On monthly billing at the lowest slider setting, Starter costs $89 a month for 100 survey responses and 500 data points, with additional responses at 89 cents each. Switch to yearly and the layout changes: Growth shows $114 a month billed annually at 250 responses and 1,000 data points, with Pro starting at $349 and Enterprise at $569.

That 89 cents per additional response is the number to dwell on. Exceed your allowance by 200 responses and you have added $178 to a $89 bill. Survicate suits teams whose volume is low and predictable; it punishes spikes harder than any other tool here.

Feature coverage is strong for the money: unlimited multichannel surveys, built-in email sending, a Research Hub, an AI agent with MCP support, 25+ integrations with data flowing both ways, multilingual surveys, custom branding, and 10 user seats across 2 teams on the entry plan. Ten seats at the bottom tier beats SurveySparrow’s one.

Choose it if: your response volume is modest and stable, and you need more than three people in the tool.

Alternative 3: Refiner

Refiner pricing showing Essentials and Growth plans priced by monthly active users
Refiner counts monthly active users and leaves survey responses uncapped.

Refiner inverts the model. It charges for monthly active users and gives you unlimited survey responses and unlimited team members. At 5,000 MAU, Essentials costs $149 a month and Growth costs $279. Enterprise is a quote.

For a SaaS product this is often the cheaper shape, and it removes an awkward incentive. Under response-based pricing, a successful survey costs you money, which quietly discourages asking. Refiner charges the same whether 2% or 20% of your users reply.

Essentials covers in-app surveys for web and mobile, website popups, email surveys and survey pages, with NPS, CSAT, CES and PMF templates, logic jumps, liquid tags, user segmentation by traits, AI response tagging, reporting dashboards, and Slack, Teams and email notifications. Growth adds multilingual surveys, behavioural segmentation, CDP, CRM, product analytics and BI integrations, plus a REST API and webhooks.

The limitation is scope. Refiner is built for in-product feedback. There is no offline kiosk capture and no WhatsApp or SMS channel, so a retailer or a clinic collecting feedback in a physical space is outside what it does.

Choose it if: you survey inside a product, response rates are healthy, and your team is larger than a seat-limited plan allows.

Alternative 4: Qualtrics

One piece of news matters before anything else. Delighted, for years the standard recommendation as a simple NPS tool, has been discontinued. Its pricing page now reads that Delighted is no longer available and directs visitors to Qualtrics Customer Feedback Software. Anyone still shortlisting Delighted should stop.

Qualtrics itself publishes no prices, which puts it in the same bracket as Zonka for budgeting purposes. What it offers is breadth: feedback captured across digital experiences, contact centre calls, IVR, chat, SMS, email, social media and review sites, unifying solicited surveys with unsolicited mentions. Its AI assistant answers natural language questions over feedback themes and sentiment, and its ticketing creates and routes cases in ServiceNow, Zendesk or Salesforce.

Qualtrics cites a 42% increase in feedback richness with no rise in drop-off from its conversational follow-up feature. That figure is the vendor’s and we could not verify it independently.

Choose it if: you need contact centre and review-site coverage alongside surveys, and you have the budget that an enterprise quote implies.

Comparison Matrix

PlanPriceWhat you get
Zonka FeedbackCustomQuote based on response volume and AI data credits. Widest channel coverage: offline, SMS, WhatsApp, in-app SDK, email, web
SurveySparrow$19/moPublished. Basic billed yearly, 2,500 responses a year, 1 user. Scales to $79 for 36,000 responses and 3 users
Survicate$89/moPublished, slider driven. Starter on monthly billing, 100 responses and 500 data points, 89c per extra response, 10 seats
Refiner$149/moPublished. Essentials at 5,000 monthly active users, unlimited responses and unlimited team members
QualtricsCustomQuote only. Absorbs the discontinued Delighted. Contact centre, IVR, social and review-site coverage

Entry prices in that table are not equivalent and should not be read as a ranking. Refiner’s $149 includes unlimited responses and unlimited seats; SurveySparrow’s $19 includes 2,500 responses a year and one seat. Convert to your own volumes before drawing a conclusion.

Integration coverage, side by side

  • Zonka: Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, HelpScout, Front, Jira, Slack, Teams, Zoom, Google Sheets, Zapier, Integrately, Make, webhooks
  • SurveySparrow: 5+ on Basic, 10+ on Starter, 12+ on Business, 25+ including PowerBI on Enterprise
  • Survicate: 25+ at entry with data flowing both ways, plus an AI agent with MCP support
  • Refiner: basic integrations on Essentials; CDP, CRM, product analytics, BI, REST API and webhooks on Growth
  • Qualtrics: native ticketing into ServiceNow, Zendesk or Salesforce

Who Should Switch

Stay with Zonka when channel breadth is the requirement. Offline capture, WhatsApp and SMS in one programme is genuinely uncommon, and none of SurveySparrow, Survicate or Refiner matches it. A restaurant group, a clinic network or a retailer running feedback at the point of service has few alternatives, and Zonka is the one to price first.

Move to SurveySparrow when the quote process is the obstacle. Teams who need a number for a budget line this quarter, and whose work is email and web surveys, get a published price and a 51% annual discount on the entry tier.

Software companies should look hard at Refiner. Unlimited responses under MAU pricing removes the penalty on a well-performing survey, and unlimited team members removes the seat haggling that shapes every other option here.

Where seats matter more than volume, Survicate leads. Ten users on the entry plan is the most generous starting allocation in this group.

Consider Qualtrics only when the brief extends past surveys into contact centre and review-site listening, and accept that you will be negotiating rather than reading a price.

What To Watch Before You Buy

  • Default billing toggles. SurveySparrow and Survicate both load on their annual view. The first figure you see is not the monthly rate.
  • Sliders and selectors. Survicate’s price depends on slider position and Refiner’s on the MAU stepper. Screenshot the configuration you were quoted on.
  • The unit, not the number. Responses, data points and monthly active users are three different meters. Convert everything to your own volumes first.
  • Overage rates. Survicate charges 89 cents per response beyond the allowance. Ask every vendor what happens at the ceiling.
  • Channels you actually need. Offline, SMS and WhatsApp narrow the field to Zonka and Qualtrics very quickly.
  • Seat counts. SurveySparrow gives one user until the $79 tier. Survicate gives ten at entry. Refiner gives unlimited.

Our full Zonka Feedback review covers the platform in depth, and who it suits best works through fit by team type. You can request current pricing direct from Zonka Feedback.

Verdict

No single winner exists here, because the five tools are not selling the same thing. Zonka wins on channel breadth and loses on price transparency. SurveySparrow wins on budgeting clarity and loses on seats. Refiner wins for product teams and cannot serve a physical location at all. Survicate sits between them with generous seats and punishing overages. Qualtrics is the enterprise option and now the only route to what Delighted used to offer.

Write down your monthly responses, your monthly active users and your required channels on one line. That line eliminates three of these five before you speak to anyone. Start with Zonka Feedback if offline or WhatsApp capture is on it.

FAQ

Does Zonka Feedback publish pricing?

No. Its pricing page shows feature blocks and a demo request with no tier figures. The vendor states that quotes are driven by response volume for Feedback Management and by data credits for Feedback Intelligence.

Which alternative is cheapest?

SurveySparrow has the lowest entry price at $19 a month billed yearly, but that buys 2,500 responses a year and a single user. Cheapest for your situation depends on whether you meter in responses or in monthly active users.

What happened to Delighted?

It has been discontinued. The pricing page now states that the product is no longer available and points visitors to Qualtrics Customer Feedback Software.

Which tool handles offline and WhatsApp feedback?

Zonka covers offline kiosks, SMS and WhatsApp alongside digital channels. Qualtrics covers contact centre, IVR, SMS and social. SurveySparrow, Survicate and Refiner are digital only.

Is annual billing worth it on SurveySparrow?

Yes, more than the badge suggests. The advertised saving is up to 40%, but Basic drops 51% and Business drops 47% when you switch from quarterly to yearly.

How many users do these plans include?

SurveySparrow gives one user until the $79 Business tier, which gives three. Survicate gives ten seats across two teams at entry. Refiner gives unlimited team members on every published plan.

All competitor figures were read from each vendor’s own pricing page on 13 October 2026, with the billing state recorded in each section. SurveySparrow was captured in both quarterly and yearly states; Survicate at its lowest slider position; Refiner at 5,000 monthly active users. Zonka and Qualtrics publish no prices and none is estimated here.
